Banjo's Barkday Cake in the Thermomix

Banjo's Barkday Cake is the yummiest, scrummiest, most delicious of cakes for dogs! If you're planning on baking it for your pups next birthday and have a Thermomix, here's how you make it.

As per Beau's Banjo Cake Recipe:

  • Full Pack Banjo's Barkday Cake Mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1/4 cup smooth peanut butter (natural, no xylitol)
  • 1 cup water/milk of your choice (note: while cows milk is not toxic to dogs it is certainly to be used as a treat only)

 In the Thermomix:

  1. Add to bowl Banana & Peanut Butter, 10 seconds, Speed 4
  2. Scrape down sides of bowl
  3. Add Eggs, 10 seconds, Speed 4
  4. Scrape down side of bowl
  5. Add the full cake mix and water/milk, 20 seconds, Speed 4
  6. Line a medium cake tin (10-15cm) with baking paper
  7. Pour batter in
  8. Place into a preheated oven 180 degrees Celsius
  9. Bake for 45-50 minutes

Note: many customers have used a slightly larger cake tin and just made the one cake (not the two to stack). Either works beautifully!
